Beat the D-League team 96-89 today. Weems is very inconsistent with his jumpshot, one game it's falling, the next game he can't hit anything. I just don't see him getting a lot of minutes during the season due to his inconsistency. Lawson had another big game. He started off hot, putting up 15 points, but then cooled off and finished with 21 points, he went 3-4 from the arc. Dupree led all scorers with 22 and he's really worth taking a look at. He'll most likely be invited to training camp and if he does well there, I wouldn't be surprised if he was signed to a contract. Karl will get an invite to training camp most likely as well. Last SL game for Nuggets is tomorrow against the Hornets.

Nice to see another solid shooting night from Lawson. I honestly think he could have a legit impact off the bench this season, if given the chance.

its good to see lawson starting to consistently play better. i have been saying for a while that i thought he was the second best pg to jonny flynn in the draft this year. cant wait to c the improvement he will make after chauncey gets a chance to mentor him into the future pg for the franchise.

Last game of SL was pretty good, we went into 3 OT's vs the Hornets and pulled it out with a 107-105 win. Weems had a big game with 28 points and 9 rebounds, that's the kind of stats I expected him to have all SL, but he was inconsistent. Lawson took over in OT's and made some big plays, finished with 24 points and 4 assists. Out of 10 guys we had on our SL squad, 2 will be on the Nuggets for sure (Lawson, Weems). Dupree, Karl, Giles will definitely get training camp invites, possibly Simmons as well. Rush, Draper, Hendrix, and Byars didn't impress much.

Although he adjusted well Lawson still has difficulty finishing... every shot attempt in the paint looks like he's "trying" instead of what he's comfortable with. But I like everything else... the speed and the quarterbacking of the team. Gotta love a PG who leads a bunch of so so players into 4-1 record.

Real nice read.

Real great read, Thanks for this. Looks like Ty pretty much dominated the summer league in regards to PG's. Gotta love the FO for this steal.
