Love 4 Bogut

Post#1 » by Dandy » Fri Jul 17, 2009 9:39 pm

Kevin Love is probably the better overall player, but Bogut fills a definite need the T-Wolves must have to compete and he would fit in nice next to AL. Plus Love and Jennings played together alot in their high school days and it would help Milwaukee with chemistry.

Compare Bogut's 4 year 50+ million contract with Kevin Love's

I'd like to have Bogut as a player but him being injury prone while making much more money than Love is a huge red flag to me.

Wolves pass fairly easily.

Are you crazy? We don't need Albi the Racist Dragon coming in here and tearing the place up trying to burn an Aussie.

I wouldn't even trade Gomes for Alexander.

I think he was being sarcastic.

I would rather have Love than Bogut even if they were paid the same. Easy no for me.

it's a no from us if it could be done straight up

a deal of something like
bogut, a Moute, Ridnour, Johnson, Meeks, Mil 2011 1st for Love, Songalia, Gomes, Cardinal, Telfair, Brown; would get the deal done for me.

^ as I said I'd love to have Bogut the player but I don't like to trade Love for him nor do I want his contract and his injuries. I wish he could stay healthy for a longer period of time.

If we even wanted Bogut, let's wait until the Trade Deadline. When a financially-strapped MIL is looking squarely at a lux that might drop $10 mil, they might dump his big contract for expirings and the DEN pick.

No. The possible entertainment value from Jennings and Bogut being together is just too much to pass up.

The Bucks would not do this trade. Bogut has become an excellent defensive big, and would be perfect for the Wolves.

When Bogut went down last year, the Bucks were ranked 5th in defensive efficiency and 3rd in defensive rebounding rate. They ended the year 15th and 11th respectively. We went from dominant in terms of defense and rebounding to terrible with him out.

His on/off numbers tell the story. That defensive net of -10.8 is ridiculous.

-10.8 is pretty crazy, if you would've told me the Bucks were doing a -10.8 w/ Bogut on the court compared to when they had Gadzuric or Francisco "Super Awesome Defender" Elson, I would've said no way, I can believe -10.4 or maybe -10.6 but -10.8? Get outta here!

Then I would've fainted....TO DEATH!

The Wolves have no interest in Broke Back Mountain.
