I thought Weems wasn't guaranteed? I dunno cut the dude without the guaranteed contract, or just forget about Coby and hope for no injuries on our PGs.

Coby is not a pg, and why would any Nuggets fan want him on the team given Karl's penchant for overplaying guys he favors? Imagine what happens when it is his son.

I feel pretty confident in thinking that Weems will be on the Nuggets roster

Then maybe bring in an insurance big from the summer league for the minimum coz one of our bigs will most likely get injured (curse).

I'm hoping for the exact opposite. If he actually does accept someone's offer sheet, it definitely wont be for much more than the QO anyway....maybe 3-4 mill at most. If that's the case, I'd rather just take the guy at 3.5 million per for multiple years, rather then 2.8 million for just next year. I'm not a huge Kleiza fan, but he is a solid bench guy and at that price is a good value. It wouldn't be a contract that is going to hurt us at any point...if anything I'd say it'd probably be a good asset to use in trades.

I don't get your point anyway. We have already offered him the QO which is close to 3 mill.....so what makes you think we wouldn't match any deal, especially when it wouldn't be much more then what we have already offered? Don't see your logic at all.

Well said, that is part of the Nuggets problem in trying to work trades now, they don't have many mid-level contracts to dangle and use as filler especially not with guys that are worth involving in a multi-player type of deal.

The Cavs have offered Moon a contract, so it looks like he won't be heading to the Cavs, LK's options are slowly starting to dwindle away unless some off of the radar team comes into play, which doesn't seem very likely to me.
