Rashad Mccants

Post#1 » by CDansby » Sun Jul 19, 2009 10:14 pm

Hey there's been some talk here in Dallas that the Mavs have been looking to sign Mccants. I feel like he would get minutes here for sure because of our lack of depth at sg, but I don't know to much about his game. I just don't want to see another shot happy guard who doesn't play any D, we already have one of those and he sits at the end of the bench and is named Gerald Green. I know you guys have got to see a lot of him, any thoughts on his type of game?

he's worth the gamble, he's a confidence player and no owner is more supportive than Cuban so who knows. I'm sure his salary will be minimal

He would be a decent 8th or 9th guy on a bench giving maybe 8-10 minutes off the bench as an offensive spark. If you guys get him for the minimum than it is a good pickup.

he can play great defense and can be a great teamate who can hit big shots... the problem is he just chooses not to be and just fires shots up for no other reason than he has the ball. would be a great player for a vet team that plays good team defense and can space the court well
