I apologize for the new post but given the IMPACT this information will have within the NEXT 24 HOURS for any and all LAKER FANS, I felt it was warranted and would recommend not locking up the thread... My friend within the organization has indicated that although Buss was livid with LO and his camp (even after the mutliple phone calls and discussions with LO), the combination of Phil, Kobe & Mitch pushing for LO has resulted in a deal that will be announced by tomorrow morning (possibly tonight) to bring LO back to LA...

The deal is for four years (possibly a team option on the fourth year) between $33 to $35 million which obviously is lower than what was originally proposed... Apparently, Buss would not have done the deal without the constant pressure from Kobe, Phil & Mitch... He wanted to move on and felt he was disrespected by his intial "generous" offers to LO...
