Not world-changing but, a good sign. Burke mentioned he wanted the guy and he got him. He's getting things done. Wallin, I expect, will be a 35-45pt type with decent defensive prowess. He never looked great before but maybe the confidence boost of doing well in the SEL will help him.

Maybe for the Marlies. Wallin has never cracked 50 points in his career, and that's including stints in the Swiss- A league, the SEL league and the AHL.

I'm just trying to project 85 points in 110 games over the last two seasons in the SEL. I think the numbers I threw out there aren't that far off for an 82 game schedule. His last NHL stint saw him gather 9 points in 15 games.
