Summer League players make our roster

Post#1 » by skorff26 » Tue Jul 21, 2009 2:23 am

So now that we have 2 more open spots on our team after the QRich trade,

Who if anyone will make our team from the summer league team?

Siler is going to camp with Atlanta.

Based on the press conf I expect us to sign some cheap vet mentors when the Coach is brought in.

i don't think carney is much of a vet presence. he's just as much a project as Brewer is. I wouldn't mind seeing Olie back, but it'd make the PG situation even worse and ruin any hopes of keeping Woodside. Who is out there for older wing players?

Woodside has exactly a 0% of making the team. You're going to have to give up on that one.

not too many options, Tim Thomas?? but if Kahn wants this uptempo style of play that he's been talking about well..

Carney > Brewer.. i think ive just had enough of Brewer even tho i realize that he is coming of a bad injury but i think what we saw him do in summer league is all we are ever gonna see imo

Tim Thomas? yikes. I want to have a vet with a strong work ethic and not a couch potato

I think none.

I think OKC bought out Earl Watson. I wouldn't mind using a roster spot on him if Rubio doesn't come over.

Watson was already signed by Indiana.

i think paul harris could actually end up being a solid James Posey type player. keep in an eye on him in the d-league and see how he develops.
