I agree. Someone needs to write a chant...then it has to be on the radio before every game...and then it would catch on.

Like the ol' Jays days of "OK Blue Jays! Lets...play...BALL!"

Best chant hands down. It just sounds good when you say.

I agree this is the best basketball chant I've heard anywhere. It's been posted here before and I even tried to come up with some Raptor related words, but it's hard to come up with something that everyone likes, or isn't cheesey.

The Horto Magiko song, loosely translated, says the team is like a crack coursing in their veins and they have to support the team to get their fix.

"Hoooward" chant was the best imho. Howard's reaction to the chant was priceless. I've never seen a guy who was more intimidated by the crowd.... ever.

"Fire Isiah" chants at MSG during Zeke's days were very funny.

Also, the crowd's riding Kobe after the rape case were good for a chuckle.

Yeah that was amazing. I was at game 3 and I lost my voice before the game even ended. That was by far the loudest chant I've ever witnessed at a Raptors game. Howard at one point was so rattled he had to walk it off before taking his FTs.

Why? He's right.

How can you compare a song with actual verses, to repeating a name over and over?

Look at the people in the Pannithiniakos vid - all rowdy guys, no young families, no pricks in suits sitting on their hands. Totally different demographic than north american sports. Only half drunk, die hard fans will do that kind of thing, and we just have too few of them that go to games.

The only thing that is close is Montreal for playoff hockey games, and that is the best North America can offer.

I don't see how singing a 1950's showtune at a soccer game is an 'amazing chant', I'm sorry.
