trade amare-jrich for ak47-boozer

Post#1 » by sergiotesh » Tue Jul 21, 2009 1:07 pm

Salaries match, imagine this lineup

nash dragic
barbosa pavlovic tucker
hill dudley
ak47 amundson
boozer frye lopez

ak47 would fit perfect in suns system, and then we would have boozer strong presence , he can also run the floor. i think we can have a serious run at ring with this lineup!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

steve, robert take a look at this and pull the trigger, also amare would sign extension in utah.

please do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:o :o

I'm no GM, I'm sure there's a reason for that, but I would never do that trade. Or maybe its just my bias towards Amare as a Suns fan.

Either way, no thanks.

No to AK. I love his game, not his contract. Boozer is gone after this season and we're NOT playing him at the C. I'd rather have JRich's bad contract than AK's even worse contract.

i am amare fan too, but i am a suns fan first, and that trade makes us better, amare looks to much for himself and he has proven that. our team leader is steve nash, not him. we reached west finals without amare, if we hadnt had steve we wouldnt have done that , i think

lets post this trade all over so it gets done

you're right, it makes us better for THIS YEAR.

For those of you who claim you don't understand what the FO is doing, well, it's the exact opposite of this. They are builiding towards the future. Not a complete rebuild, but they are attempting to develop their young players through class acts and veterans in Nash and Hill. Even if we completed this trade we are NOT beating the top teams in the West, let alone the Magic, Cavs, and Celtics who have all gotten better and grown together over the past 2-3 years. Why get rid of a good thing we have going here (we ARE getting better, despite what you may say). Just be content with what we have - and that's a playoff team. We will continue to look for more options but right now is now the time to be bringing in 2 veterans with huge contracts. It's just not what the Suns are doing right now, and I'm starting to like what the FO is doing.

I am an Amare fan, and a fan signs. Sloan has long been reguarded as a stellar coach, always said to be one of the better coaches in the league, so why dose he hate AK....Also Boozer is always thought to be one of the better PFs in the league, great talent, why dose he keep bouncing arround, never sticks. Keep Amare unless you get a ton of young talent coming back. Aks contract is ugly but I would do him and J. Rich and what ever other moving parts needed to be added like Pavs, to pair with Amare, but not both him and Boozer. This would also cut into Grant hills and Earl Clarks Mins. Just play this year out and bring in someone to play with Amare, and Steve.

If you have cap space, would you want AK and Brand for 30mil per? Not me. If so, why bother? Not to mention, Amare > Brand, JRich > AK.
Worst I have seen so far.

Please don't, at least for those of us who are actually interested in the well-being of our Suns.

Thanks. :)

Any time you have the opportunity to downgrade from Amare to Boozer and acquire a contract even worse than J-Rich's, you have to do it.

How does this make us better? If Kirilenko was still the Kirilenko of 05 maybe this would, but the dude is nowhere near as good as he used to be. This trade makes us considerably worse.

AK47 is a good defender but is not worth 16 mil.

This trade is horrible.

J-Rich is a deal-breaker, nobody wants him and his enormous contract

Wow....both sides have liked a J-Rich for Kiri straight up in the past. Kiri would be great in our system here, and I would not be disappointed to see a J-Rich for Kiri trade happen.

Swapping Amare and Boozer is too much. Maybe if Utah added in the NYK 2010 #1 pick, we'd look at the trade again, but otherwise this trade is a no go.

Kiri for J-Rich would be theft, Utah aint that stupid

WOW! I didn't think someone could be this wrong in one post. This has to be some sort of record. First of all, why would we want an undersized PF like Ak47 who has a HUGE contract? And why would we want Boozer who is NOT a Center and who does NOT play any defense? Not to mention Boozer is expiring which doesn't help us if he bails.

And a serious run at a ring? Man you are dillusional. That lineup is FAR FAR away from even sniffing a championship let alone seriously contending. Oh and nice bench, I think I could outscore that bench.

Enough with these ridiculous trade "ideas"

Lineups

Nash/Terry/Dragic
Barbosa/Pavs/Buckner/mabe Terry
Hill/Dudley/Clark
Frye/Amundson/Clark
