OT: Last minute fantasy decision.

Post#1 » by Newz » Sun Sep 30, 2007 3:38 pm

I have both the Bears and the Packers defense in my fantasy league...

I am starting the Packers right now, just simply because the Vikings offense seems so horrible.

Thought it seems foolish to bench the Bears defense (Even with the injuries because they are such a threat to score a TD).

Any thoughts?

Well you have to think kitna will throw at least 1 or two interceptions.
Meanwhile, Holcomb could very well throw one or two the packers way, however they won't be throwing the football as much.
I think either way you're golden, but kitna is a sure bet to throw a pick or two.

The Devin Hester factor is what is making it so hard for me.

I would go bears, simply for Devin Hester alone. The D's are pretty even, and Min will be looking to run whereas Det will be putting it in the air a little more so Int's are more of a possibility.

I'd go with the Packers D. Kitna might throw some Int's but he will throw some TD's too and put up a lot of yards. Chicago's D so far hasn't been the dominant one we remember yet either. All those injuries have caught up with them and their passing D is not that good.

I ended up choosing the Bears...

So far it's worked out in my favor.
