Huerta and Maynard should be the main event but huerta's lucky to get a co-main event with his contract status, I figured they'd pull an arlovski on him and stick him somewhere in the prelims.

Diaz/Melvin
Huerta/Maynard
Condit/Lytle
Cantwell/Stans Dudes this card is off the chain, I would pay for this one. My homeboy just got signed for this card, hopefully he gets on TV. He'll probably make more from his sponser for getting on TV than he would for fighting, WAR STEVE STEINBEISS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got Melvin in that fight man. Maybe im a little biased. But I dont see Diaz taking Melvin down by anyways but pulling guard. And Melvin brings some serious power in the stand up game. I could see Nate being TKO'd

You never know which Melvin will show up. Trying to predict his fights is maddening.

Very true. You would have to consider this the biggest fight of his career though. Fighting a TUF winner in a main event. Again. Its time for some semblance of redemption. This will show if Melvin is for real about turning his career around. Or if he is just going to be another extremely talented athlete that couldnt get his head straight.

What a great free card. UFC out doing themselves here, first the TUF finale, now the fight night.

I hope Nate wins, but if he doesn't wonder where that will leave him, 3 losses on the trot. Not a fan of Melvin so really hope Nate does pull this one out and gets himself steadied.

Really excited for this one, these fights actually can go beyond just "showcasing" to actually meaning some things in the divisions, obvious with Gray's fight.

This is a great card.
I have no doubt that the first episode of heavyweights is going to break all the previous records.

With this type of lead in, popular guys like Page and RE, and not to mention the hype of Kimbo... dear lord... i can't wait for this night.

The biggest fight of his career was the Joe Stevenson fight and he got tapped in like 25 seconds. I think Melvin has all the talent in the world, but I do not trust him to ever live up to it. Joe Rogan used to call him a little Kevin Randleman when he first got to the UFC and that is a perfect comparison. Randleman is another guy who could have been great but never put it together.
