Yeah, I'm gonna miss Craigers. Back when he and Randy were rookies I went to a game with my girlfriend at the time and they had T-shirts that just said "I like Randy" or "I like Craig". We bought the "I like Craig" one, even though he was less glamorous. I'm no Foye hater, not even close, but I was always glad I'd chosen the Craigers T-shirt. Now my ex-girlfriend has it somewhere. Anybody else get one of those shirts?
Anyways, I'm sad to see him go, but I think it will be good for his career and he's probably happy to be back in LA so I wish him the best.

Its for the best Craig Smith needs to play with a premier defensive player next to him in the frontcourt for a team to really benefit from his offensive skills. Otherwise he simply gives back whatever he gets at the other end to either his own man or by making the team interior defense worse then it already was.
To be honest i'm more hurt by them not extending a small offer to retain Sheldon Williams who never got a chance to play with Al Jefferson and in my opinion really could've helped defensively next to him.
Granted the Wolves will get the same thing from Etan Thomas but since I figure that Etan Thomas and Q-Rich are the Wolves most attractive large expirings I tend to doubt he'll be here past the deadline.

I can only wish him well. If they clear out another big man, maybe he'll even get some decent playing time for the Clippers.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

I'll always remember Sheldon for that standing swattage on Shaq, that was hilarious and neither one of them even left the floor

I'll always remember Shelden for the way he played waaaay out of his league, both in basketball, and with women.

I still think Sheldon Williams will find a home as a teams third or fourth bigman now that the expectations caused by his draft position and high rookie contract no longer will have him viewed in that light.
I think a team that brings him on at a low end deal will find a player that can give them some toughness, rebounding, sets solid picks and screens, hold his ground in the post and give them 6 hard fouls.
Basically all things that i'd say the Wolves are in desperate need of at the right price. As it stands right now the only guy they have that brings those things is Etan Thomas and he isn't cheap or likely to be around past either the deadline or at best the end of next season,

I'll miss the flying chest bumps that he gave the other Wolves as they headed back to the bench for a timeout. I'll miss the way he interacted with the other guys. It was very evident that all his teammates really enjoyed him as a person and a teammate. I'll miss his excitement level and energy as he fearlessly attacked the other team. Good luck to you Craig. We didn't want to get rid of you, but we just had too many players and too many PF.
