Another end of the bench player. He and Warrick would be the same type of player.

If everyone thought like some of you guyz think then there would be only half a league!!!! seriously??? really?? WoW. There would be no trevor ariza,Ben WAllace,Chauncey Billups, josh powell, Al Jefferson, or even better Tyson Chandler's in the L. Like I stated before..... I believe that there is a lotta other factors that go into playin NBA basketball other that what you might consider.... How do you explain Trevor Ariza not getting any burn before the Lakers and all of a sudden he's the Sh.. now? Alot of you would probably be all on his "ballboys" if he signed with the lakers because your minds would be open to what he could become then. Right now tho, stay on Josh Powells ballboys.

I've unfortunately seen him play....NBA strength and body for a 4 but something ain't right with that guy. If he going to be anything but a garbage player it would have showed by now.. Chalk this one up as Kwame II

That's because I work in the lakers organization as an assistant to the original superman "Clark Kent"!!!! LOL. I'll say this we beefed up our perimeter defense so our next goal is to beef up our interior defense and toughness, because I don't think Boston is gonna be anything like playin the Orlando Tragic.
We aren't strong at point guard on defense but I believe Shannon is capable of playing better on defense, and we can always stick Kobe or Artest on the perimeter player that's burnin us whether that be CP3, Rondo or whoever. Can you imagine Dwill tryin to bully past Artest? LMAO.

They called him the Landlord in college for a reason. He came from a great progam with a Hall of Fame coach that TEACHES the game. I'd do exactly what they indicated, cut Yue and sign Shelden.

Of the group listed, I think Rodney Carney would be the closest to what Ariza was. And from what I hear he's one of the fastest players in the game. Wouldn't mind letting him sit at the end of the bench and see what we could do with him.

EDIT: I do think that's a fair assessment Doobie.

I like Carney also, Problem is we have too much dead money allocated to the perimeter players in Sasha,Luke and Ammo and the chances are we won't be able to dum any of them (except maybe ammo, prolly at the deadline tho.) We might as well let those guyz battle it out for the remaining minutes because Ron and Kobe are gonna play around 35-40 min a night each. Whereas, in the interior, Bynum is prone to do almost anything from get into foul trouble to god forbid get hurt again, truth be told he's totally unpredictable. Lamar is unpredictable to a certain degree also, and he's not a interior stalwart to say the least. Likewise with Pau, although I will say, he showed quite a bit of toughness this year considering I thought he was the most talented soft player in the L. Considering Powell (that's my family name by the way so I have an affinity for him) he can nail the 15-18 footer and is pretty good on the offensive boards, but his D leaves alot to be desired, Like PJ said in the San Antonio game I can't remember the quote but I don't like penetration unless it's me(LAKERS) doing it!!!LMAO. Mbenga? Good story and 6 fouls...in 6 minutes. Atleast in Sheldon you have a very servicable guy that can possibly grow with the young core at a very reasonable price as a QUALITY big off the bench. Might even luck up and get a BenWa balls, LOL. For 1-2mil How can you pass that up? He's be worth it in the crossreference to the sparks alone!!!
