Guys and Girls, I just wanted to clarify something.
Are people in the USA not supposed to "Bet" on Professional sports, (NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB, etc)
I ask this because we can bet on more or less whatever we want in Australia, and I can place bets on the NBA as well. I am not really a gambler, I usually take one bet each year, (Like Rockets to win it all for $10.00) I also apologise in advance if this thread breaks any forum rules. I am not here to discuss gambling specifics Per se, just the rules involved with it.
I know that there has been a lot of controversey with the whole Ref's scandal. And I saw an article on how the NBA, (amongst other Pro Sports) is suing the state of Delaware to stop gambling. So is this a rule NOT enforced nation wide?
I can't recall any sporting events in Australian history that were "Fixed" so to speak, (although I remain highly suspect of the Horse Racing industry!) So it is obviously not as big an issue here in Oz as in the USA.
