OT: Mark Buehrle Perfect Game

Post#1 » by m23uza1hem36 » Fri Jul 24, 2009 5:39 am

It was amazing to watch, knowing that there's only been 17 in the history of MLB.

This guys quite the player he also had a no hitter a few season's ago (same year as Verlander I believe).

However, I haven't seen it covered as much as I thought the media would cover it, for example it's not even the main story on this site's baseball section.

When Verlander had a no hitter ESPN went straight to Baseball Tonight and they discussed it, they didn't do it for a perfect game though? They also did that for Curt Schilling that same year when he didn't complete the no hitter, it was broken in the ninth inning. Weird...

All I gotta say is, seeing that DeWayne Wise play live was pretty spectacular and one of the best plays I've ever seen.
