Hinrich would be a great bench player for the C's

Post#1 » by cfan79 » Sat Jul 25, 2009 4:31 pm

If we could get Hinrich via a trade he'd be a great backup for Rondo and Ray in a pinch. He played really well against us during the playoffs. It would be nice to have him on our side. His name seems to be on the market. Plus Chicago already has Rose, Pargo and Hunter at the point guard position.

I have always been a huge hinrich fan I think he is very undervalued. He plays solid d and can knock down the jumper, fierce competitor, and can play two positions.

Yeah, I was very surprised by his defense in the playoffs. I'd love it If we had Rasheed, Marquis and Hinrich off the bench. Each would get solid minutes because their ability to play multiple positions.

I think Lebron would be a great starter for us. Should I make a topic about it?
Reggie stood out like a sore thumb no tattoos no agenda no chirping nothing Just a guy who could score at will He played college ball at Northeastern he replaced Larry as Celtics captain he belonged to Boston.
And I still miss him. Even now.

This. There's nothing we could do to get him. Nothing.

Nah we could use him as energy off the bench.

Lebron isn't on the market this offseason. So your failed attempt at being clever doesn't work.

And this is why people get on your case because you don't do your research and really have no clue.

And Ensoul wins....you fail

There's no reason to be a dickhole. This isn't a game of chess its a message board. I'm not trying to win anything. All I was saying is that he'd be a nice player to have on the Celtics.

Only a simpleton like yourself thinks its a game.

Well, to back off Cfan for a minute (hehe), I'm a huge Hinrich fan. However, he and Daniels are both sort of tweeners at the guard spots, the difference being Hinrich is a better overall player and Daniels we actually have a shot in hell of aquiring. While I'd rather have a guy like Hinrich who can get really hot from outside and play some pretty damned good D, Daniels is still a big bench upgrade for a team that won 62 games last season so I'm pretty happy to hear that he is likely to come here.

As for everybody really ripping on Cfan lately he makes me slap my forehead too, but try to keep it light... he is a fellow Celtic's fan and he is rocking the Russ avatar.

I don't understand why all you cats are being rude to my man Cfan. He's very entertaining, even his bad trade ideas are funny.

Earlier, I fantasized that Chicago would let Hinrich go in a salary dump. That was pre-Marquis Daniels, but I've love to have him on that basis, even though it would probably involve backstabbing Eddie. (The most obvious trade uses all the expirings of Scal, Tony, and Eddie.)

Hinrich was overrated for so long, I guess he became underrated. They were talking about dumping his salary last spring I thought, but he rehabbed his value big time in the playoffs - he's not so great as a starter, but he's a great combo backup.

But this is Chicago we're talking about - they'll want KG in return for him, because he's a superstar (but not "untouchable" like Deng, who is LeBron level in their eyes).
