Romney was born with a silverspoon in his mouth, he's the son of a former Michigan Governor and American Motors chairman. Seems like another look out for wallstreet and corporate America type guy...

I think social policy is secondary to economic and foreign policy. Social stuff can be directed by the states.

I'd rather have someone look out for business interests because it's business interests that built this country up from absolutely nothing into the best country in the world, and Barack Obama is dismantling it piece by piece.

And if you wanna talk about silver spoons, the most prominent Democratic family in the United States has had a silver spoon up their ass and in their mouth for over a century now, so get out of here with that silver spoon nonsense. All that does is try to breed class tensions, which is not surprising, because that's what Democrats do.

Barack Obama is dismantling it piece by piece

1) Obama is still for big business and corporations, the difference is most democrats at least pretend to care about the American public while most republicans will give them the outright finger or have them brainwashed thinking something is socialism or on religious issues.

And if you wanna talk about silver spoons, the most prominent Democratic family in the United States has had a silver spoon up their ass and in their mouth for over a century now

2) If you're refering to the Clinton like I think so, Bill Clinton grew up poor in Arkansas how exactly did he grow up with a silverspoon in his mouth?

All that does is try to breed class tensions

3) It isn't about class tensions but liberal and conservative ideology. Not everyone who votes for democrats are poor just like not everyone who votes for republicans are rich. You have liberal actors and scholars who vote democrat just like you have people who didn't finish highschool and live in trailers vote republican. Unfortunately, not to much difference between both sides of the coin.

Which is not surprising, because that's what Democrats do

4) I'm not a democrat, I voted for Ralph Nader. The same can be said about republicans also.

I could not care less about this story. We're supposed to be talking about health care. This is a red herring.

Romney or Thompson would have done a better job on the topic which is most important in this country...The Economy.

Both had pedigrees of experience better than Obama, but the nation was blinded by "changism". People wanted to change for changes sake without understanding or realizing that some of what they were changing should not have been changed (like voting for guys with experience, and guys that won't turn our nation into a socialist hole- where someone might have to work more for the government than for themselves.)

Thompson was my guy from the beginning, like the poster above, but I moved to Romney in the final race on the Republican side. Proven bi-partisan experience, proven economically successful background. Strong uniter. People just needed to get over his religion, that caused the biggest issue, and most of those issues were based off of complete falsehoods and rumors. Also Romney turned that Silver Spoon into a Golden Platter also. He may have started off wealthy, but he added far more to his bottom-line than his dad ever provided for him.

Let me let everyone in on a little secret. Every politician is for big business. Maybe one wants to regulate it more than another and maybe one is more business retarted than another, but big businesses, their money, lobbying efforts and the political pressure they exert are too much for someone to ignore... regardless of political affiliation.

Oh and socialism, let me explain. Socialism is paying taxes that the government then uses to help subsidize a sex change operation for Sam... erm, I mean Samantha....

2) If you're refering to the Clinton like I think so, Bill Clinton grew up poor in Arkansas how exactly did he grow up with a silverspoon in his mouth?

BurningHeart got it. Ahh... Ted Kennedy, sure he killed a girl but we shouldn't hold that against him...

It is absolutely and unequivocally about class. When 20% of the population pays 80% of the taxes and a democratic campaign is run based around having those people pay more taxes so that those who already don't pay taxes get greater utility (at no cost to them) from our government... you bet your a$$ those lines were drawn intentionally.

People are built around having and wanting things. Most people obviously want more than they have, that's why we are a net debtor nation. When you tell the masses that they can have more by taking from someone else, of course they are going to like that option more than if they had to go out there and earn it on their own.

It's amazing that most fiscally liberal people suddenly become fiscally conservative once they work hard enough to earn any amount of money.

Oh, and actors are often liberal because they either feel bad about all of the money they earn, they find espousing bleeding heart liberal ideas at a cocktail party does better for the career, or they mistakenly think that people outside of the studio actually care about their political inclinations (which, thanks to gossip magazines, some actually do).
