I thought you guys might be interested in this OT, these are pretty much THE two guys at Madden that shape the final game.
The guy on the left is "THE"ratings guru, Donny Moore, he does all the numbers and research, it appears to me he is the the judge & jury regarding ratings from everything I've read about him.
The guy on the right is Ian Cummings, he's the lead designer on Madden 10.
They brought the majority of the high ratings over the years way down, with the exception of the superstars, that was the point I guess to make it more realistic, true to life.
That video made both parties look a little worse. Brings more attention to Madden, but they didn't handle it as well as they could, Moore's stutter doesn't help matters, poor guy. Housh is right where he should be, the last time I saw him show max speed was in college, he's all brilliant hands and great route running to me. Can't believe he's so pissed, he's 90 overall, what are the non superstars gonna say, damn'.
BTW I played the demo it's improved, looks gorgeous, appears better than last years, more realism, online franchise thru iphone pc that's really neat, pro tack= gang tackling that's a neat feature, fight for every yard is kinda lame goal line stuffs all over the place, hard to run, the speed has dropped intentionally to make it more realistic works great when you are throwing it cuz pressure isnt as fast, but again harder to run, on defense harder to pursue with the lessened speed, etc. I'm not sure if I wanna shell out $60 for it, especially since my Ravens don't have a stud WR anymore, and they made the Ravens overall a 82 after getting to the final four last year. Oh yea, and because I suck at Madden, I almost forgot. I'll wait another year, the Ravens should have Boldin by then
