I think Andre Johnson will be the decider. If he plays we probably lose.

If he places, they kill us in the passing game since Hall will likely be suspended.

The season is pretty much lost already (it was actually lost when Vick went out). If Schaub has a big game on us the media talk is going to be almost unbearable. But then again as Hawks fans, we are used to criticism after the fact (Marvin Williams)

Playing great so far, our offense looks good. 20-10 but I'm kinda hoping we blow it so we can get a top pick. Winning this game really doesn't do much for this team.

- Jennings, and the Kicker are the two worst players on the team.

- when the blitz comes, QB has to hit the check downs. FBs and TEs have to step up and give Harrington a good angle for him to throw it to.

- i was high on the defense, and it has looked good, but after watching two games, it is very clear that the DC doesn't preach going after the ball. guys on D have to start thinking about striping the ball and not just making the tackle. defenses like Baltimore and Chicago go after the ball and the defense prides themselves for getting turnovers.

i posted this after the Jags game.... and i'm so glad that all these things where addressed today.

special teams played good, they made their kicks.

defense where not great, but good, and they did get a turn over. just go after the ball more D.

and finally the Check Downs were excellent!!! the blitz came and Harrington hit the check down right away and alway kept the offense in a manageable position. i'm really glad to see this progression in Harrington and it goes to show how far the check down can help the whole team. their was even a few plays where Harrington hit Dunn on the check down and only got 0-2 yards, and i cheered my a@ss off, because instead of getting a sack and 2nd and 15, Harrington got it to 2nd and 9.

If we were going to win any game this year, I'm glad it was this one. I can only imagine all the things that would have been said by all the clueless football fans. Harrington with another great game, it's amazing what happens when an OL blocks and the WRs catch. Roddy White has been money this year *knock on wood* and Jenkins had a day today.

Unfortunately D. Hall is the only corner we have. Lewis Sanders is terrible and Houston hasn't looked any better. One's a vet and one's a rookie, though. Schaub picked on them all day. His only TD came on Houston when Hall was serving his 1st quarter suspension.

When healthy, Abraham is the best DE in football. That is all.

Oh, and Michael Boley is a beast.

Sanders is an idiot, but it is always hard to play right corner back to D.Hall. no matter who you are, they are always going to look off of Hall's side and the whole offense is going to pick the other guy, which is Sander's and Houston..... Falcons just need to bring safety help on Sander's side.

... i would also like to see what Jimmy Williams can do instead of Sanders. Williams, Hall, Milloy, and Crocker could be a nice line up if they can get some reps together.

...... btw, does anybody else think that Andre Johnson would have no affect on this game, Andre is an elite receiver, but Hall would have shut him down the whole game.

It isn't easy playing opposite of Hall, but that's still no excuse for Sanders to ALWAYS be trailing someone. Every time you see him he's either 10-15 yards off or he's running 5 yards behind.

As far as Andre Johnson, I don't think it would have mattered because Schaub was having his way in the passing game without him. Andre Davis had a huge day. I wouldn't say Hall would shut him down, Hall is pretty inconsistent and for whatever reason usually plays Steve Smith well (I think it may be because he's basically Steve Smith's clone on defense).

The Dome was very exciting today, I was actually expecting it to be dull, but the seats were full, and everyone was ready to cheer on the birds.

I had to turn it off sports talk radio on the ride to the Dome because of all the negativity towards Hall. They continued to bring up how Hall was burned by Chad Johnson and Terrell Owens during the past, but I guess all the positives slipped there mind.

We need to control the ground better and I would like to see Joey throw the ball deeper.

^^^ That is good to know. I'm glad people were there makign noise.

As for Sanders, he is about 10 times better than Webster. And he should move to nickel once Houston is ready.
