Re: Collison trade
Well considering both those guys are expirings I think it would make sense for OKC. But that's the only reason.
I guess Blake would be a decent back up but Travis Outlaw (who I like) would not really find many minutes.
If OKC is simply looking to clear cap I can see them doing this. But there is also the whole not trading within the division rule being broke here.
It's not a bad idea I just don't see it actually happening.

Re: Collison trade
Yeah, I'd go for it. I think that we get the better end of the deal (expiring contracts and a little more talent). I think that, because Collison doesn't really look to be a part of the long-term puzzle here, a lot of our views on him are a little bit lower than they should be.
I think it we had Outlaw, it would probably squeeze Weaver completely out of the rotation (which I'm fine with, I think he's the weakest link right now). Blake would probably take most of Livingston's minutes, which I'm less fine with, but it would make us much better next season.
Outlaw would provide the bench scoring that we seriously lack and Blake would provide a steady point guard to reign things in if the Harden/Westbrook tandem proves to be too volatile.
