Ratliff, I think he's got more left in the tank and he's a better shot blocker.

Wow, this kind of came out of left field. Good for you guys, he's old, but still solid in limited minutes. Def a good brain for the younger bigs, too.

The moves made by the FO this offseason have been close to perfect.

Agreed FO has been dead on during the offseason. Nice for a change for us to actually land some solid pieces outside the usual...2nd/3rd tier brent barry's and roger mason types.

I was just reading the 76ers page and they seemed to all have good things to say about Ratliff. Guess he played better than his stats suggested. I had him pinged as the 3rd C and insurance policy but wonder if I am selling him short a bit.

Yeah, even more impressive when you consider SA as a city doesn't have the appeal of somewhere like LA or Miami, and that we didn't have a 1st round pick this year.

Easily the most productive offseason in a decade.

there's only one more thing that could make this offseason perfect for the spurs and that is getting ricky buckets here only problem is i think they woud have to give up too much to get him

For 10-15 minutes a game, I think Theo Ratliff brings more to the table than Oberto. But I think Oberto is still productive if given 20-25 minutes a game. Ratliff really can't play that many minutes anymore IMO.

Going to miss oberto because of the chemistry he provided the team but Ratliff even in his ginger body and old age can still block shots. Who did we have last year guarding the post when TD went for a breather...Gooden and Bonner. That really drives fear in the hearts of the opp. Def upgrade.
