From the "glass half full" department, at least this epic fail of a series happened now, and not in two weeks.

I think you're right on there. My guess is the brass will seize the opportunity to move a couple of guys, they know this light hitting bunch isnt going to be a title contender.

I like the idea of getting Saunders out there and would follow that with putting Clement in the DH/1b spot. While i'm dreaming here on a sunday morning let's get Ackley signed and get his process started so he can be our eventual 2nd sacker.

Our season is now over, so can our Front Office now try to:

Trade Bedard
Trade Branyan
Trade Washburn

And keep Saunders on the big league club and call up Clement to DH or play 1B.

This is right up there with getting swept by the Nationals at home last year for most ass-backwards series in recent memory.
