Dooling

Post#1 » by Nyce_1 » Sun Jul 26, 2009 9:36 pm

Is he available?

I read an article that you're looking to add a PF (Warrick or Baby) but need to clear a roster spot. I wonder if you'd be willing to move Dooling for...maybe a TPE? That way you don't take on any salary to impact your 2010 plans.

Just inquiring.

If we're talking about only for a TPE, I'm gonna say No that Dooling is available. He has a $500K buyout next summer, so it's not a big issue honestly. Now, if you wanted Najera or a package or Najera/Williams for a TPE, where do we sign?

He's available but only for something of real value. The Nets could probably find a better way of freeing a roster spot than trading Dooling for a TE.

How many teams have the cap space or a tpe to take him on without sending out salary? Maybe the Magic, but...I don't see that happening.

I'd move him, but I'd need at least a pick of some sort or Najera going the other way. Solely a TPE wouldn't be enough for me to pull the trigger.

No thanks on JJ. With Lee, Terrence Williams and CDR (plus Hayes, Simmons and Hassell for good measure), Reddick would be a waste here.
