I remember when a title being defended at PPV's was the norm, not the anomaly. Alas those were the good old days and now we have Night of Champions in a week. Although I do think its a little funny that even at a PPV with this name, it doesn't appear that every title will be defended as there doesn't appear to be a Women's title match or a US title match. Anyway, let me get to my predictions.

Divas Champion Maryse vs Mckie James: Maryse is really hot. Doesn't really have anything to do with anything, but I really don't have much of an opinion on this match. I'm guessing Mckie will win just because Maryse has had the title seemingly forever.
Winner: Mckie James

ECW Champion Tommy Dreamer vs Christian: I'd like to see Christian win the match and set up a long term feud between him and Shelton Benjamin, but I'm guessing that won't be what happens. I'm guessing we see Vladimir "X-Pac heat" Kozlov interfere setting up a thriple threat at Summerslam.
Winner: Tommie Dreamer via DQ

Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio vs Dolph Ziggler: I have little doubt that this feud will culminate with Dolph Ziggler becoming the IC Champ, the question is when will the feud culminate. Normally I would think this feud would extend until Summerslam but with Hardy's uncertain status there is a complete lack of faces on Smackdown and it would seem very possible that they throw Rey into a feud with Punk for Summerslam.
Winner: Dolph Ziggler

Tag Champs Chris Jericho and a mystery partner vs Rhodes and Dibiase: The two questions are who will win this match and who will be Jericho's partner. I think the first answer is pretty simple as they seem to be by all indications setting up a Dibiase face turn in time for the Marine 2’s December release. So, I’m guessing this match will be the first step in some friction between Dibiase and Rhodes and Orton. The other is a bit more uncertain. Initially I thought it would be Ziggler but he looks like he’s in the IC title picture. The Miz would seem to make perfect sense though.

WWE Champion Randy Orton vs HHH vs Cena: God I don’t care. I’ve seen enough of these
3 face each other for 5 lifetimes. I’m guessing Orton wins with cheating from Legacy setting up a Orton/HHH Summerslam match.
Winners: HHH or Cena via DQ (orton retain title)

World Champion CM Punk vs Jeff Hardy: This is one of those situations where being a smart WWE fan bites you in the ass. Its well known that Hardy’s contract is about to expire and by all indications he hasn’t signed a new contract. Obviously if he doesn’t have a new contract he’s not winning a title
match.
Winner: CM Punk

World Champion CM Punk vs Jeff Hardy: They will build up Punk even more as a "Heel"

Also you left out the US Title match: Kofi Kingston vs. Big Show vs. The Miz vs. MVP vs. Jack Swagger The Miz needs to be built up even more his character has so much potential!

Womens Championship- Michelle McCool(c) vs. Melina- Melina takes the title since she is hotter IMO

ECW Championship- Tommy Dreamer(c) vs. Christian- Don't really watch ECW so im just guesing here

Intercontinel Championship- Rey Mysterio(c) vs. Dolph Ziggler- Same thing as above except its Smackdown.

Unified Tag Championship- Chris Jericho and Kane(c) vs. Legacy- Apparently on Jericho's twitter page he says his partner will be "EVIL" so to me Kane is the logical choice. Also with a possible DiBiase and Rhodes rival in the near future I think they will strat building it up.
Winner: Legacy

US Title: Kofi Kingston(c) vs. The Miz vs. Big Show vs. MVP vs. Jack Swagger vs. Carlito- IMO The Miz should win tonight. The guys has a lot of talent, that is being wasted right now.
Winner: Big Show

WWE Championship- Randy Orton(c) vs. John Cena vs. HHH- I think Orton's title run ends tonight, also the rumored main event for Summerslam is Cena vs. HHH. So knowing how Vince is Cena takes the title
Winner: John Cena

World Heavyweight Championship- CM Punk vs. Jeff Hardy- Hardy's contract is set to expire in about 3 weeks no chance they give to him without a new contract.
Winner: CM Punk

Wow. That's an all time low IMO. Orton taps to both wrestlers, plus legacy comes in and takes out both HHH and and Cena and Orton still wins. The winner and the finish both suck. Horrible writing.

ziggler was supposed to win but writer changed it at the last minute to build up the fued ... ziggler passed the test that he can put up a good match.

i see him winning it at summerslam.
