Boozer is way better than Tyson Chandler.

I would GLADLY trade Boozer for Okafor at this point. Who cares if he's not a center, trade Wallace or Diaw for one later.

For several years I have pushed a Okur or Boozer for Okafor trade. At times some of your board was for it, and others laughed me off the board. Isn't Boozer far superior to Chandler. Boozer would pull down 25ppg/12reb on your offensively deprived team, and give Bob Johnson quicker cap savings. I can't believe our GM's aren't talking. This is so right for both teams at this point.

I would much rather do Okafor for Boozer than Okafor for Chandler. I would still swap Wallace or Diaw for Boozer -- which is what I originally wanted.

LB's welcome in Charlotte has worn out for me. It's time for him to bounce!

How could paying Okafor $12 million a year be right for any team? It was a ridiculous contract and the extent of that foolishness is apparent today.

Maybe the next shoe to drop is Diaw and Bell for Boozer. Bell is an expiring and Diaw gives them a very different dynamic to blend with Millsap, Okur and AK47. That also opens up the door even wider for signing A.I.

Felton/DJ
Iverson/Henderson
Wallace/Brown
Boozer/Radman
Chandler/Diop/Nazr

I'd go to war with that lineup! :rocking:

Chandler will make the team better (healthy one). Boozer, I'm not convinced.

Chandler has more trade value to the Bobcats for 2 reasons.....

1) he gives us a legit big Center to replace the center we are trading away w/ a similar skill set but more athletic with a better "motor"

2) if this works out we have him locked up for 2 years then we can re-sign him at what probably will be a lower salary, if it doesnt we're free of his salary or we have a big expiring contract going into the following summer, while on the other hand Boozer is a PF which leaves us a hole at C and moves Diaw to the bench when he was a very important piece to our team last year....We would also either lose Boozer this summer or have to lock him up into a long term contract at probably a higher price than the contract we just got rid of in Okafor....

So yeah Boozer is definetly a better "player" than Chandler but to the Bobcats Chandler is a better asset becuz he keeps our team at the same level we are now, with moderate hopes of making the playoffs, while also shedding future salary both if it works and if it doesnt..... You guys do realize that going into the 2010-11 season we have about $ 27 million scheduled to come off our salary -- Chandler @ 12,750,000/Mohammed @ 6,883,800/Radmanovic @ 6,883,800. We can either try to get some FA's or use those 3 expirings as trading chips...

Also maybe the Jazz front office wasnt interested in acquiring Okafor's contract especially if they are trying to trade Boozer...Boozer is a better player than Okafor, if you dont want to pay him why Okafor around the same amount?? Okafor is overpaid & overrated but just like you guys probably had to overpay to keep Milsap this year we had to overpay to keep Okafor last year...couldnt let him leave for nothing....now this year we corrected that mistake & get something of value in return

Guess you're not into ball movement, huh? That lineup is horrible and opposing teams would just pack it in on defense and dare these chuckers to shoot it from outside. (which of course they will happily do and miss most of the time)

Anyone trying to justify Chandler over Boozer is outta their mind.

3 chokers in our starting five. Great.

Felton and Iverson in the same backcourt? Awesome. Not only that we would lead the league with the lowest field goal percentage, No, any 6'2 guard could post up against these guys

Boozer would have been a 1 year rental, and I doubt he would want to sign with the Bobcats for the long-term. He didn't wanted to be in Utah.

Who? Wallace did pull a choke job at the free-throw line against Washington, but I wouldn't call him a choker. And it's not like our former starting five wasn't prone to fourth quarter meltdowns.

I'd try Diaw for Boozer first, and if that didn't work, I'd go Wallace for Boozer.

Not sure if I would do a Diaw/Bell for Boozer trade.
