Boozer done with Jazz

Post#1 » by HolyToledo » Tue Jul 28, 2009 5:31 pm

Boozer will NOT resign with Jazz even if he plays out season. Boozer doesnt want to be here BUT the moron opted in to play here one more year for the MONEY. How do you guys want him to stay here for one lame duck season? He is a total distraction. He has to go before training camp.

Can we please start locking these threads? HT is out of control. Are you mods even paying attention?

Part of me wants this to stay UN locked....something tells me the Jazz will be stuck with Boozer and I want this open to laugh in HT's face when it happens.

All your link is is a link, to a link, that we have ALREADY TALKED ABOUT....about a million times, nevertheless.

I appreciate the link and thank you for posting it. I didn't know Boozer said "um, no" when asked if he would re-sign with the Jazz.

The beef with you is that you keep making new threads on subjects already being discussed when the polite thing to do would be to find the most popular Boozer thread and post your info there. Only original and relevant ideas (no more than once or twice a week) or breaking news not yet posted should have its own thread. When you post so many new threads it makes the board feel disorganized and cluttered and people don't like that.

"I had knee surgery last year, came back and fully recovered, had a really good individual playoff run, but my team fell short as we lost to the Lakers," Boozer said. "But I'm feeling 100 percent healthy, feeling great. We're down here in Miami and getting ready for a great upcoming season." Deseret News

Does Boozer think that continuing to run his mouth makes him appealing to other NBA teams? He was asked not to talk about any imminent trades, yet he doesn't care, no respect. And then this quote, just rubs me wrong. All about him, not a team player. I wonder if the rest of the NBA says, "I told you so", like this is some bad karma for the Jazz signing him in the first place. He just has no class or character, I hope he can feed his broken family on the max deal is seeking.

I can't wait for the first head to head between him and Millsap.
I hope Sap destroys him.

you guys should trade him already. What's taking so long? If you dislike him so much, why on God's name are you still keeping him? Trade his butt.

Honestly, i think Boozer is playing this pretty smart.Boozer wants out and he knows, the only way he will get what he wants(Trade to Miami/Chicago or contending Team), is if he destroys his value, through talking crap and making himself look like the villain(I for one hate how his going about it). The fact remains, that even if he bashes everyone in the Utah Front Office, he will still receive a contract next year by someone. Right now, Utah is hoping for a decent offer, but the more he talks, the worse it gets for them. The same thing happened when Wade started talking about our Front Office and how they need to make a move. Teams see that and lower there offer, which hurts talks. I hope it works out for you guys, i for one admire how much the Utah fans love basketball and Jerry Sloan is my second favorite coach of all time(Pat Riley first).

We are going to get a decent offer or he will play here. Thats how this thing works. We were hoping he would walk this year so we could do other things with his money, but he opted in. Now if he wants to leave that sucks for him. I know you think what he is doing is smart because you are a heat fan, but in reality its not smart because the more he talks the more likely he will spend the year here.

Also if he does play here for the year we get the benefit of him expiring this year. I don't see how people only think he is worth some expiring contracts. That idea is ridiculous because he is a big expiring contract. Someone at the trade deadline will make a move for him.

I honestly don't think hes playing it smart, due to being a Heat fan. Boozer has value in this league, no denying that. But Right now, teams don't want to give up value(That the Jazz are looking for), so the only way he gets out is if he lowers his value and forces the hand of the Jazz. If he keeps talking, its less likely that the Jazz Front office will keep him to start the season. I for one don't think he ends up in Miami.

Anyone who thinks the Jazz are going to give away a talent like Boozer for nothing is a basketball idiot. If the Jazz were worried about the luxery tax they wouldn't have resigned Milsap!! (who is a backup by the way)
Go ReAL!
