Millsap will play 30-35 minutes. Okur, despite his being played at center, is really a PF. AK, despite his being played at SF, is also a 4. Kouf is a center, but he has the athleticism to be an effective backup at the 4. So that's four deep. Why add more?

This team needs a center or a shooting wing. It does not need a backup power forward. Switching Memo over to the 4 to backup Millsap will allow the Jazz to give Koufos meaningful minutes and a defensive presence at the 5.

Without Boozer and with Goran Suton the Jazz would have 3 PG, 2 SG, 3 SF, 1 PF and 4 C. There is no reason not to bring in a true PF in a Boozer trade.

Plus, Lee is aggressive enough that he spends some time at center.

If we're ready to rebuild then give the young guys a chance. If not then we need someone with experience like Lee who can rotate for Millsap or Okur.

Lee's defense is atrocious, by the way....he's nearly as bad as Boozer.

This thread needs to be locked, this deal is false, no way Jazz are even talking to NY right now.

Now that Okafor is gone, I wonder if these talks will revive?

Why?? You think Utah was every actually making a push for Okafor?? Or even for Lee, for that matter??

Either way, getting Lee would be a stupid move...the last thing we need is another PF who doesnt play any defense.
