PAST NBA MVP'S

Have you guys noticed that in the past 6 seasons the league MVP has not won a championship. The last time a league MVP won a championship was Tim Duncan in the 2002-2003 season. But for past 6 seasons the regular season MVP has not got his team a championship. Is this some curse or something, what do you guys think about this???

If it is a curse, it could have been broken if Kobe won MVP this year, or if the Lakers won the finals last year. Oh well, the "curse" lives on.
