Michael Bisping vs. Wanderlei Silva in the works for UFC 105

People seem pretty confided in a guy who is 1-5 in his last 6 fights.

The loser of this fight takes a HUGE tumble down the 205 ladder.

If Silva loses this, it's probably over anyway. He hasn't tasted back to back victories since 2006. He's now just a marquee name to add to your belt if you're a young fighter. Still, I hope Bisping gets knocked out for good measure.

I want nothing more than to see Bisping KOed on a weekly basis, but it seems like people are forgetting that Wandy has been garbage for like 3 years now.

I want nothing more than to see Bisping KOed on a weekly basis, but it seems like people are forgetting that Wandy has been garbage for like 3 years now.

Personally I just don't think Bisping is that good. Wandy hasn't been good for a while, but Bisping looked pretty much like trash against Hendo, where as Wandy looked some what competitive against Franklin.

Wandy isn't the same, but the last thing I want to see is Bisping win and get some delusions of grandeur because he "conquers the pride superstar", because lets face it, he'd be like that.

Not quite what I meant, taking it a bit to literally. What I am saying is that while Wandy has dropped, Bisping isn't that good either. We'll see what happens, but I just think for the sake of my sanity, Bisping can't win, because if he does, like I say, he'll suffer delusions of grandeur. Fair point. But I do think we'll see two pretty distinctly average fighters out there, one that is clearly on the downward swing of his career, and the other on the level plateau of the prime of his career lol.

Even though I am from England, I really REALLY dislike Bisping.

I think bisping is better and will outclass Silva if he avoids the big punch. Bisping is a good, but not great 195 pounder IMO.

My sentiments exactly. If he beats Silva (even if he's at the tail end of his career already), we'll never hear the end of it.

Man, im getting sick of the UFC shoving Bisping down our throats, this guy just isnt that good. The UFC just continues to try and give Bisping favourable matchups. Henderson is a wrestler with terrible striking and good power and he still embarassed Bisping.

They aren't really forcing him down anybody's throat. I don't like the guy, and certainly don't think he's a "top tier" fighter like he thinks he is, but you gotta have some middle of the road guys anyway. I think about the most questionable thing was the main event he did, and that's not that uncommon to see those sort of main events. The fight vs Hendo was a natural fight to have just because of the show.
