I'm proud to select Shawn Kemp.

Image

With KAJ and Willis Reed in the fold, I need an athletic big man that doesn't sacrifice defense. Kemp is one the most athletic bigs in history, is very efficient offensively, is a solid rebounder and a decent defender. I just love having a big with the ability to simply demoralize the opposition, while not giving up anything in other aspects of his game.

With our acquired pick in the 2009 All-Time Draft, the Houston Rockets select . . .

Image

Terry Porter!!

We had a tough decision between he and another guard, but opted for Porter, the Chauncey Billups before Billups. A very good defender in the backcourt, efficient shooter, and big game performer, often averaging over 20 points per game in numerous post-season runs. With already having Wade, and Bird as our primary wing scorers and play-makers, we needed a PG that can do three things effectively, run a team efficiently, play hard nosed defense, and most importantly space the floor and knock down the open shot. Porter fits those qualities to a T, and then some. He will start in the backcourt alongside Wade, and move DJ to the bench where he can effectively back up both G position and still get the minutes that he deserves. Maybe not the most talented player on the board, but certainly the best fit.

Code: Select all

[PG] - Porter (30) - DJ (18)
[SG] - Wade (36) - DJ (12)
[SF] - Bird (38) -
[PF] - Hayes (36)
[Cc] - Robinson (38)

The Titans proudly select PF Chris Bosh (2006-07 / 2007-08 / 2008-09) in Round 7 of the All-Time Draft. Chris Bosh brings in both defensive and offensive domination off the bench or as a starter. He is one of the best PFs today and has a lot of potential and room to grow. We believe that playing with guys like Barkley, Duncan and Yao, Bosh can improve his game in every aspect whether it be rebounding, defense, shot blocking, post-up moves, contesting shots, jump shots, driving to the basket, strength and etc.

Chris Bosh is a perfect fit for this "ON THE MOVE" team. In the mentioned three seasons, Bosh averaged double double, 1 bpg, 2.5 apg, having a fg % of just below 50%, and shooting around 82% of the free throws.

Autopicking for Booz, in need of a bigger guard (Paul - Iverson) that can play defense and knock down shots, they will select . . Eddie Jones. All-NBA defense, great three point shooting, pick can be changed if need be.

With our OWN selection in the 2009 All-Time NBA Draft, the Houston Rockets are pleased to select. . .

Image

Jack Sikma!!

One of the most underrated big man to have ever played the game. Playing in the late 70's, well into the 80's and eventually the 90's, Sikma faced all sorts of big man, the likes of Moses Malone in his prime, Elvin Hayes and Wes Unseld in the finals, Akeem Olajuwon of the Houston Rockets, or Patrick Ewing of the New York Knicks. Despite the changing of the bigs, one big was always a constant, and that was Jack Sikma. In a relatively harder era to make an All-NBA defensive team as a big man, Sikma with his rebounding prowess and grit inside proved himself as one of the league's top defenders. He led the league in total defensive rebounding twice, and offensively, he was one of the most unique and sharp shooting centers of all time.

With a career 85% from the line, once topping out at nearly 92%, Sikma was an elite shooter and oft forgotten when talking about C's with great range on their shot. He had three point range as he proved later in his career in the 90's shooting a high percentage and consistently knocking down over one per game. Most big man with range get called out for their lack of toughness, but Sikma on defense was physical inside and could rebound with the best of them, with his range he could play either frontcourt position and provides versatility with all our bigs being able to step out and knock down the mid-ranger consistently while being both rebounding and defensive forces. We are pleased to bring a champion like Sikma aboard.

Selecting for MJallday, they are pleased to select . .

Bruce Bowen!!

One of the greatest perimeter defenders of all time, keeps his opponents off the line and finds a way to contest every shot. Also keeps defense honest with the ability to hit the three pointer, especially from his patented corner spot.

Selecting for MJallday, it looks like the position that would be most utilized on his team at this point is a back-up swing man getting around 20mpg behind LBJ and Kobe. Autopicking Manu Ginobili for him. Consummate team player, excellent shooter and slasher, doesn't take too many shot attempts but makes the best of them, and can hold his own on defense. (well, flop his own, whatever)

Selecting Bill Laimbeer for my own team. One of the best rebounders left and a very good defender. Additionally, he spreads the floor nicely with his jumpshooting and isn't afraid to piss some people off.
