DFish has a year left

Wait for a combo guard that can run the point to come over at the deadline for an expiring... thats about it

LOL at this thread. we are the most spoiled fan base ever. there is an over 150 page thread that concludes with everybody agreeing that we have the most talented roster in the NBA. it continous with we are a clear favorite to win the chip next year. and this thread starts with a now that we are done tone and it moves immediatly to let's not be done let's get somebody else.

first off does anybody seriously think that the Lakers will make another move now? in case you think so check our cap space situation.

second, a trade you say! last I checked Ammo sucked, the Machines contract suck, Lukes contract suck and Fish is still need.

dump Sun Yue you say! well that is going to happen anyway. he is the odd man out because the Lakers will roll with a 13 man roster.

this is it. our summer is done. time to hit the beach! sorry Dex I forgot that you live in a land lock city. do you think your Cats will still have our number this year?

No money left. Your team is set. Maybe a small trade (PG) but can't see FO spending too much more money.

North Carolina is a land lock state? Think about it for a minute. Maybe just look at a map.
Lakers fan first anyway but you it's o.k. to root for the hometeam under dog when Laker games aren't on.

If that was a serious question which I know it wasn't there is no way the Cats beat the Lakers.

i did look at a map and that is why I said city and not state, and yes that was a serious question. the Cats have beaten the Lakers like a teenage boy beats his ...apendage for some years now.

O.K. but seriously no. I know it happened alot but all flukes. My Lakers kill my cats. It's Lakers first anyway. Cats is really something im forcing because I can't go to Lakers games unless it's vs Cats.

Lakers should trade Farmar to Philidaphia for two future 2nd round picks and their trade exception. I believe the have one. Theys should then sign Luther Head for the vet minimum. He is a good shooter and defender. Shannon Brown could take Sasha's minutes at back up shooting guard.

WWhat about going for talent at that position like McCants or Carney? Don't know if they can be had for the vet min.

You don't stop making moves because you think you're already good enough, that kind of stuff will get a GM fired. If a trade makes itself available that improves the team you make the deal.

If the knicks come along and offer Duhon for Morrison and Farmar, you go ahead and pull the trigger.
