I found it interesting how Hendrix fell off the radar.

ditto.
He was buried deep down in the forward rotation at GS.. And he was so unfortunate to have Don Nelson as his first coach.
I really like this guy since college to the predraft camps. He could be a pretty serviceable pro down the road.

If Gelabale is healthy, he's easily the best guy on that list.

I'm just not sure if his knee is back to normal yet, though.

How about the following:

Indiana Gets: Pruitt, Giddens, Walker, and Boston's second round pick
Indiana Trades: Marquis Daniels and Indiana's second round pick

Boston Trades: Pruitt, Giddens, Walker, and Boston's second round pick
Boston gets: Marquis Daniels and Indiana's second round pick

Indiana can drop Pruitt, and they have two young studs in Giddens and Walker and no character issues. Boston gets Daniels and the ability to use there LLE on another player. They also keep there expiring contracts (T. Allen and Scalabrine) to use in a future deal.

I can't believe this hasn't been done yet.

Boston will not give up both Giddens and Walker.
I think the offer includes Tony Allen and/or Scalabrine, and Pruitt (already waived)
We don't need Boston's junk so Larry and the guys are trying to add another team and make it a three-way.

Is there a way we could convince NJ to join in?
I just saw their roster and they got a lot of wingmen, i still wonder how T. Williams and Courtney Lee will play together as starters, and they have like five back-ups.
Hayes and Douglas-Roberts could be pretty good targets. I wouldn't mind bringing either one of them.

I'm beginning to think this s and t is not gonna happen, looks like if they want Daniels they'll just have to sign him. Unless they are giving us something we want I see no reason to do it!

I was thinking the same thing until I had a talk with IndySports. He made a good point to me. The longer it drags on, it's possible that it's more likely to happen. They're obviously not rushing it so they have a desire to get Quisy a better contract that will make him happy, as opposed to the $1.9. We just have to be patient and find that 3rd team, because Bird is obviously being smart about this and not just taking Boston's crap (Allen or Scalabrine).

I'd say as low as they draft pick will be in 2010 prob. #28 to 30 if they really want Daniels and they're willing to pay him more than $1.9 million a deal could still happen but I'm not holding my breath. The only way I see is #1 pick and Allen plus the cash to buy Allen out! If they would add Walker to the mix I'm good but I don't want to pay Allen or Scalabrine so I'm wanting cash in the deal to buy out the guy we don't want.

That could be possible but i think the Larry's idea of doing a trade with Boston is to acquire a couple of useful players that could complete our roster, which could include a wingman as Danny's back-up. The draft pick would be nice, but we need a player now. Unfortunately, Boston's offer is very unattractive. I can see them sticking to it so we might as well play the waiting game, we don't have anything to lose, IMO. If all those attempts fail, then sorry Quis. we could just sign a cheap yet promising forward FA as Danny's back-up, i'm pretty sure there would be a couple of guys in the market that could be useful.

Wiretap says there has been no progress in trade talks.

"they" may not be the Celtics. the people not rushing it could just as well be Daniels and his agent. as long as the Celtics aren't threatening to pull their offer off the table, Daniels has no incentive to sign it now.

Doesn't look like there will be a S&T, and Daniels will sign for the bi-annual with Boston.
