Looks as though he has put on some "good weight" as well. Should be an interesting season for him. I think he will make a huge stride with some playing time.

Thanks for getting these pics.

Looking SVELT! I like that. Too bad it won't matter cuz he will still be stuck behind Boozer and the 'Sap this year. Or until the Jazz decide they can't have their cake and eat it too and just trade Boozer.

Regardless. His arms are looking nice. Let the bromance with Koufos begin!

The Jazz will get their cake and eat it too. Koufus still has a long way to go for the NBA though.

I disagree. He was strong in limited PT last year. Could break out this year.

Do we know when the actual games begin? Any insider info on how his game has been looking?

I think he could break out this year. Who else do we have to be a backup C this year? No Collins. Fess is farther away than Kosta is. He is going to get time.

The Jazz staff said that they were very disappointed that he didnt get to play in the Orlando league because they were very anxious to see how much better he got this summer.

The actual games will begin at 7th September.

Koufos has so far, not been able to train with the rest of the team because of his finger injury. (The same injury that made him opt out from the Orlando Summer League).

He is expected to fresh and ready in 1-2 weeks.

He didn't get much playing time with the Jazz, so it's a great oppurtinity for him to display his talent (which he has plenty of).

He is a very big talent, with enormous potential. He might explode this year, it's just a matter of time.

There was a really good article in the Trib awhile back about Koufous. From the article is sounds like the Jazz got a really promissing player and great person to go with it.
