Sources say you've made an offer to Powe. So maybe Ferry thinks the guy can come back and make an impact?

Source says Cavs have made a contract offer to Leon Powe. He is ahead of schedule in recovery. He may have some other choices, we'll see.

^Yup we apparently made an offer. It seems they were waiting to see if Warrick would bite first. If Powe is ahead of schedule and they think he can recover from his injury it would be a decent move.

Perhaps Ferry gets him and Joe Smith and calls it an offseason? Not sure what type of offer Poe is looking at $ wise.

"Shaqtastic. 24 points." "Where'd you get so many Q's?" (With a stern scary look) "Don't worry about it..."

The Bucks are extremely weak upfront with Joe Alexander looking rawer than an uncooked egg and Amir Johnson their only other front court player of note that can play the PF position. I think factoring that and how much they were able to get him for it might be better value than trying to match a potential near MLE level 5 year contract for Sessions. Warrick could turn out to be a steal for them.

Yea the Warrick thing is the least of their problems actually. Within the last year they have made some absolutely terrible moves. I guess thats what a down economy will do to you though.

Moving Mo had absolutely nothing to do with freeing up time for Sessions, zero. Mo was moved because he'd become a huge problem in the locker room, was overpaid and flatly refused to play a lick of defense. I'm glad he worked out for you guys, but him being moved couldn't have had less to do with Sessions, they just wanted him gone at any cost.

I agree that the Bucks did not trade Mo Williams to free up time for Sessions. The Bucks acquired Ridnour for Mo Williams and Ridnour was the starter over Sessions. Sessions would not have seen much playing time at all last season if Redd and Ridnour had both stayed healthy. When Redd was out, Sessions picked up many of his minutes at SG. Later Ridnour was hurt, and Sessions got meaningful minutes at PG.

Sessions got playing time because of injuries. He would have probably received the same amount of playing time if the trade had not been made. Maybe more.
