I say bring him back, especially if Daniels is going to be focusing his minutes at the 1. He's a tall 3, he's recovering more of his athleticism and he's been in the system. I hope he gets a TC invite with Swift & Hudson.

I just want to gauge interest, or lack thereof. Anyone agree with me?

Miles is no longer a 3. Doesn't have the quickness and would get torched on the perimeter. What he is now is a small 4. No thanks. This team will be rounded out with Daniels, a backup point with the vet minimum and I see Swift getting a camp invite and the 5th big.

Darius Miles from 2001? Sign me up!! Darius Miles is unfortunately no longer Darius Miles. He is no longer quick and nimble, he's wide and slow. He looked dunzo last year. This was a guy that could play Point Guard as a rookie. He has lost so much that it's sad to watch. I'd rather just see him retire so we can remember him as a head-knocking Clipper with Q on one of the most fun teams of the decade. Unless he can shed 25lbs and go back to looking like the Darius Miles I remember, no thanks.

I guess what i'm saying is should players like the "5th big" not materialize, are you that opposed to Miles vs the options out there? Maybe I need a list. I'd also like to see his progress before writing him off @ the 3.

Obviously Miles isn't a 7foot center but I see him contributing more than Swift would. Also, aren't all of our backup 4's (esp if/when Baby is re-signed) smaller than Miles?

This post got me thinking about how awesome Darius Miles was. Watch the vid you posted with the "highlights" of him as a Celtic, then watch this vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SUWf7UIS-xs

It's like watching a Brian Scalabrine highlight mix and then watching a Scottie Pippen in his absolute prime mix. Darius was (could've been) great, but now he really just needs to go away. There is no chance he could do any of this stuff anymore, from finishing to working guys off the dribble, so there is really no need to bring him back. He's just not Darius Miles anymore. Can he even dunk anymore?

He might be a good pick up. He's still a decent defender and may be a good insurance policy for if/when we face Orlando (Lewis) or Toronto (Turk) in the playoffs.
