He has a club option for 12 million with a 1 million dollar buyout. I fully expect us to take the buyout, does everyone agree?

We'll buy him out. Although I would not be surprised if we attempted to resign him to take Kawakami's spot in the rotation.

I was glad they re-signed him, when healthy he is a good pitcher.


The Braves have six pitchers, and will try to trade one. I would prefer Lowe or Kawakami to be traded.


Instead the Braves traded Vazquez to Yanks for Melky and 2 good prospects. This deal is a C+ for Braves, could have got a better player than Melky.
