Looking forward to seeing Snell pitch vs the Rangers. It would be very nice to beat the Rangers back-to-back on the road.

All things considered, Snell looked alright. Going six innings in Texas without getting lit up is impressive. He worked pretty quickly, mixed his pitches, and started getting more adventurous with his pitch selection as the game wore on.
That said, he was fairly lucky. He put a few too many people on base due to issues with his command, and while he wriggled off the hook today...he's not going to be able to do that every time. If is control is a little better I think he'll be a great fit in the rotation.

In the context of what it took to get Snell i'd give him a solid A for his initial Mariners start. Looked strong, mixed up his pitches and wasnt intimidated by facing one of the better hitting clubs in the American league.
