JR free..
just to get away from all the BS trade/FA talk....
Smith was released from Monmouth County (N.J.) jail on July 24, six days earlier than expected. According to his original sentence, Smith would have been released from jail either late Thursday night or today.

Good to see that all the legal stuff is behind him and he can now focus on the upcoming training camp and season.

let's hope that he's matured a bit.. even though his jail time wasn't probably as same as the other convicts, in my opinion that is.

So disappointing to see him get involved in something like that. I think he's fugazi, but either way why risk hurting your image and potentially your career on some dumb ish you should be happy to have the money to avoid.
much respect to the 2011-2012 champions, Miami Heat, well deserved

I honestly don't think he matured mentally after 3rd grade. Love him as a player though.

Nuggets guard J.R. Smith shut down his Twitter page on Tuesday in the midst of controversy.
His last message to fans before it was closed late Tuesday afternoon read: "ok people i love all of my fans im sorry but this will be my last tweet you know why but it is what it is love all an tke Care"
Smith's tweets raised questions after several were written in a manner commonly associated with the Bloods street gang. Smith tried to correct the issue in a tweet late Monday night, but ultimately decided to close the account.
From The Denver Post. Definetely a smart move

JR is a **** moron, but he's our **** moron. I'm not worried about his image.
Come on, how many "gangstas" use twitter, obsess over video games, and webcame half their life?
Clearly JR makes the dumbest decisions in the world, and clearly he would like us to think that he's "hood", but in the end he's just JR
