I'm starting to wonder if Yao is sitting out all next year so that he doesn't have to play for China next summer.
If he comes back early it seems that he is soo dedicated to his country that he just plays for them because he can't say no. I'm thinking he decided to forego the season even though he probably could come back in March so that he won't have to play for China in FIBA next summer.

Yao will play if he's healthy. I am sure that Yao is not the kind of person who stays away from his responsibilities.
