Apparently this stems from the fact that most of our posters don't want to trade Jefferson or Love for garbage. look this is a forum, where people of different fanbases chat. You guys thought that we were giving you guys too little, we thought you were asking too much. As soon as the media stopped posting bs stories everything stopped. I dont see a reason why this thread is up.

also everyone was shocked with your draft picks, i dont agree with the people that came here and laughed at you guys, but i think most tried to find the middle point to a trade between the two most logical trade parents for rubio, knicks and wolves.

The thread was created because we received so many posters from NYK that came here, and when their offers were refused, started bashing the entire team. NYK fans probably accounted for 5-10 times as many derogatory posts as all other fanbases put together.

In the three years I've been here, I have seen that our moderator Rev has been exceedingly fairminded allowing people the freedom to speak. However, the NYK fanbase was being so disruptive that it was interfering with the board. Rather than give out punishments, this thread was created.
I invite you to look back at previous rubio threads and cringe, and notice all the NYK posts that were ban-worthy.

I agree with your next post though that the time has passed, and it may be time to remove the thread.

Finally, there is a belief among Knicks-fans and even the mods here that there is some predisposed hatred for the Knicks. I don't see it at all, at least from MIN. I think if you review the Knicks-fans posts, you'll see that this was a response due to their specific behavior .. not their favorite team. I invite you to research your position by looking through our threads.

good points but i dont mind the thread as much as i do the comments on it. Everyone is bashing the knicks and its sort of a hate thread now. Also the mod putting in the sig the knicks arent relevant didnt help too much either.

im not even asking to remove it, just rename it and stop calling knick fans this and that.

Before today, the last post was created on the 25th. The thread should just be deleted. Sure it prevented trolls earlier, but now it's just pointless.

kingofkingz, if all visiting posters were like you there would be no need for this thread. I think the Wolves board as a whole is mature and quite friendly to other fans who are respectful. But a fanbase can only take so many "LMAO at your team", "your GM is an idiot", "your team sucks", "nobody wants to play for you", "have fun in the cellar", "you should just give us Al Jefferson and fold up the franchise", "Rubio would rather shovel manure in Estonia than play for your pathetic team", etc. (OK, the last two were a bit exagerrated but you get the picture).

Anyway, things have settled down now so maybe it is time to delete this one. I do anticipate another round of spamming once Rubio signs with Barcelona or Madrid, though. So maybe a generic "troll warning" thread would be appropriate?

To be fair, we had trolls from Chicago as well. My favorite bad trade for Minnesota was the Hinrich for our #5 and Miller and other considerations. I'm not offended if someone suggests a bad trade that obviously favors their own team (I've done the same myself), but I get annoyed when someone resorts to trolling (as if that somehow proves their point).

i dont see one hate thread that hasnt been locked. Also i dont see any thread that has been started strictly with t'wolves hate comments. Yes a lot of knick fans were mad, and unrightfully so at you guys, but the media was really influencing the hate. Its really over now, since the media has ended it now and people have given up the hope of rubio in a knick uni. I dont see any large hate groups pouring in for another 2 years and thats if rubio doesnt come to minny earlier.
