Looks like the wolves got an ESPN game

Post#1 » by Calinks » Tue Aug 4, 2009 5:49 pm

Yea I know, shocking right. Looks like Love's twittering is paying off. Yep a national television game for the world to see. It's against the suns too. I guess they are banking on our big men lighting Amare up again.

I just looked and I didn't see any for Toronto but you say they got one. If they don't that's jacked up man. I don't count NBA TV games because nobody has that damn channel. I only count TNT, ESPN, and ABC. The Kings got shafted as well, I think they only get an NBA TV game. I'm surprised the Thunder only seem to have one. Portland snapped, they got like 17 not including NBA TV.

yup i dont count nbatv either, thats a shame that such a good team only gets that much air time and a team like the clippers(albeit improved) gets 8.

My schedule thoughts:

1. LeBron's only visit to Minneapolis until the NBA Finals will be the second game of the season.
2. Our ESPN is over Thanksgiving weekend.
3. We finish the regular season with LA, NO, SA, DET. Tough teams that would make it easy to tank.
4. Al goes "home" to NO 12/4 and 4/11.
5. New Years' Day game against Orlando.
6. KG comes here 11/4. We go there 12/20.
7. Foye and Miller come 12/26.

They'll probably take the game away if Jackson doesn't get hired as our coach.

That's funny, the time I saw the Suns and the Wolves together on national tv was at the lottery. If your really lucky, Nash will represent your team at the lotto too!

With a coach who had no idea what he was doing for the 1st half of the season and our best player out for the entire 2nd part of the season 46 wins wasn't too bad last year, plus we got Earl Clark in the lottery... Would you take 46 wins in a season? I think so

Not if that team is the Suns

Not good enough to advance to the playoffs (check) too good to get a decent lottery pick (check) players getting older (check).
