Game 1 is such a downer, are they passing out rings vs. the Clippers? Please tell me no.

Yes, it's the first home game of the season, the rings will be passed out.

I hate the first game. Seriously, the Clippers? Isn't TNT all about ratings and all that? Couldn't they get the Spurs or even the Rockets (return of Ariza)?

No, uhm.. let's choose the Clippers. Because people are really THAT excited to see Blake Griffin. Oooo-kay.

I wouldn't blame the guys for losing game 1, I'm not sure I can even get pumped for that game, plus the dreaded ring ceremony always is a distraction, plus the LAC will want to steal it. Yuk!

I think we'll start 28-2 on the way to a 70-12 record ... looking at the schedule we could win 73-75 games actually but I think 69-70 will be what we get and a #1 seed (along with the best record in the league) to go with it.

My thoughts exactly. He should also sit out games on January 13th & 31st if we have any!

Interesting, 13 & 31st, turn 31 back = 13, unlucky number.

But no can do boss, we gotta take out the trash on the 31st.

Is Blake Griffin all that important that the Lakers have to face him on opening night. I wish we played another team but I guess its whatever. Maybe Drew will go off for another career high.

The Lakers were playing against the Clippers 3rd string big men.Rookie Deandre Jordan and Brian Skinner. None the less , Bynum dropped 40 points in that game. D.Jordan also had 20+ points and about 7 dunks.
You are either doing or not doing .

Last year we had 19 sets of back to backs...............and finished 22-8, not bad.

These kicks were worn by Kobe in Game 1 of the Finals. I'm pretty sure they are not for sale.

Doubt it. They had certain advantages they don't have anymore. Artest and Kobe can double Gerald and Tyson for Mek? Come on they got worse.
