We can almost predict when McGrady will start playing from the schedule.
If his rehab is going great,possib Nov 27 against San Antonio,more likely Nov 29 at OKC.(Several off days on homestand for practice.)
If it's like most think,he'll be back Jan 12 @ Charlotte(1 game in preceding 5 days allowing at least 2 practice sessions).
A little later at SA on Jan 22(1 game again in preceding 5 days.)
There's a nice 6 day break for All-Star game,giving team chance to recharge for stretch run. And there's nice little break Mar 10-12 before a brutal stretch of 4 games in 5 nights late March(only night not playing is my Birthday,don't know if that's good or bad!),but they should have a chance to beat all 4.
Guy986,
You can put the Tank back into the garage.
First 20 games can be broken into 3 tiers;
Lakers(2),Blazers(3),Spurs-if healthy(1)....assume 0-6
Dallas(2),Utah,Phoenix,Atl....prob 1-2 wins
OKC(2),GS(2),Kings(2),Memphis,Minn,Clips-all teams that were pretty rancid last yr,played no D and are counting on rookies and extra experience to improve. These are teams the Rockets should be able to beat and I expect 6,maybe 7 wins against this group.
The optimist in me expects an 8-12 record after the first 20.
