Well, are you good at coming up with fresh ideas for trades? Are they effective for all parties? Do they work under the CBA? That's really all you need to know to compete.

The judges will post an assignment, you will have a certain deadline in which to complete, and then the judges will grade. Assuming we go with a bracket format again, whoever wins between you and your competitor will advance to the next round. If you have a question, feel free to ask it BEFORE you submit your assignment proposal.

Can I twist your arm into judging? I always prefer to have more judges, because inevitably someone's schedule gets complicated during this process.

That would give us 4 judges and 11 participants. I think I'll keep the invitation open until tomorrow at midnight ET, but we'll have a preliminary round shortly thereafter.

PLEASE keep in mind that the biggest determinant in the success or failure of this trade tournament is YOUR INVOLVEMENT. We'll have assignments and deadlines popping up all the time, and the sooner your can finish your proposals, the faster we can keep the pace.

If you're fairly certain you cannot check the board at least once a day, it may be in everyone's best interest for you to "sit out" this one.

Considering I've never judged one, I'll give it a try.

I'm a judge slick...

You'll have to penalize another Bulls fan instead.

I can judge, I have a few scenarios to throw your way too if you're open to hearing them.

I'll participate if there's room. I've only been in one tourny and I took it down.
Roy's the best player I've played against outside this guy from my hood in Queensbridge, guy named Mike Chaplain. He went to jail when he was 15 years old. He was the best player I played against, now it's Brandon Roy.

Now that we've got a solid crew, let's get this thing rolling. Who's in charge here, anyway?

That'd be me. I made a deadline of tonight at midnight ET, and I'm going to stick by it. Though I am glad to know that people are already pushing to get this started!

Again, I'm going to wait until midnight ET. I'll post a list of participants and judges then, and my fellow judges and I should have a preliminary round assignment posted by noon tomorrow.
