How are we "right there" with The bulls or the Wiz??

Chicago made the playoffs last year with one of their best player injured most of the season. Sure they lost Gordon but the return of Deng and Rose getting better I'm pretty sure they're the better team. The wiz on paper are also a way better team, Jamison, Butler, Miller, Foye, Haywood and Arenas seems like a good core to do some damage in the playoffs.. No way we're close to these 2 teams..

im gonna stand in the middle here. i think the nets can split the season series or do better against all the teams mentioned above. but i do think the playoffs is a bit of a reach. when you support your team its good to be a little bit optimistic, but you cant go too far. but you also cant be too pessimistic. sure the nets are not clear cut better than chicago, but washington isnt clear cut better than the nets. i dont know if you remember but at the start of this past season i was hating on the nets hard. i thought they were gonna be the worst team of all time. but they started out pretty strong and had a season that shows some promise for the future. i think that will carry over to this coming season.

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree, while we did show promise last season, we got considerably worse during the offseason. Without Carter you'll see teams double teaming Harris thus making it harder for him to penetrate and be as effective as he was last season. While Courtney Lee did show promise last year with Orlando, he got extremely overrated by Magic fans. He's really gonna disappoint some of you if you guys think he's a capable right now of being a consistent 2nd/3rd option every game.

I'm not being pessimistic, I'm just stating what I think this we'll achieve next season and I don't think it'll be much.
