historically, we've always had a pretty busy march, as that is when we do our second west coast trip. so no surprise of the teams we play then.

we also have a pretty long homestand at the end of january (six games). some pretty good games with dallas, clippers, lakers, portland, and miami.

According to the Insider, we're playing Jabroni 3 times at his place, and only once at the Phone Booth...

Why isn't it just split 2-2...??

Those are announced closer to training camp, except for special situations like when they played some games in Europe.

also, some individual tickets will go on sale probably sometime next week. not exactly sure when, yet. but like i said, expect lower level tickets for lakers, boston, and cleveland to be extremely limited.

Hello all. I finally moved to the D.C. metro area and would love to go see the Wizards this season. I am interested in season tickets and was wondering if anybody here knows where I can purchase some cheap tickets at. I'd appreciate it.

11 road games against Playoff teams. 6 west playoff teams on the road. Of the 5 home games in March, 3 are against Playoff teams.. March will be the make or Break part of the season.

On the bright side, we have one of the deepest teams in the league. Chances are, we should be better able to weather injuries than other teams. In March, teams with lesser depth may be hurting more than us. Having tough games in March may be better than having tough games in December.

There is also a preseason game at the practice facility in Richmond on Oct 6 I believe.

sorry i've been away for a few days. yes. october 6 v. memphis in richmond is another preseason game. also, this week we should begin offering planholders the ability to purchase priority tickets.

and again, if anyone has any ticket questions (prices, locations, etc.), feel free to let me know. thanks!

another advantage to this is we are re-integrating players and a new coach.
We're a lot better off if we have an easy schedule early, when we'll still presumably
be in the learning phase, than later, when hopefully things will be better sorted out.

+1

I agree, jim, that it's better to let success gradually build momentum. By March the Wizards will have learned to win. I also wouldn't be shocked if by March EG has pulled off a can't-miss trade with the playoffs in mind (which in addition to helping the team on the court could remove parts of the roster that aren't fitting, or solve cap concerns). So, when the Wizards get to the toughest part of their schedule, that'll be the perfect lead-in to the playoffs.

I think this coming season's shaping up to give the Wizards a "perfect storm" of favorable circumstances.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

Thanks Mike Lee for posting this schedule

"the Wizards will open the preseason in Richmond against the Memphis Grizzlies (Oct. 6). They will play one game at Verizon Center against the Dallas Mavericks (Oct. 9), then hit the road for the final six games. The Wizards will head to Toronto to face Hedo Turkoglu, Chris Bosh and the Raptors (Oct. 11) and play back-to-back games in Grand Rapids, Mich., and Cleveland against the Pistons (Oct. 13) and the Cavaliers (Oct. 14). They will take a few days off, then have another back-to-back set against Atlanta (Oct. 19) and Philadelphia (Oct. 20) and conclude against the Chicago Bulls (Oct. 23)."
