Am I the only Rockets fan who thinks that Dorsey could be a decent backup center next year

he'd be okay but i think he's still too raw. he'd be good for a guaranteed six fouls a game. i think we have our backup center already. chuck hayes. if you think he's bad, watch the celtics game when he covered garnett. ill give him props for standing toe to toe with kg.

The Chuck Wagon has the same problem as Dorsey...he picks up fouls really fast.

Andersen will be the starting center latest by Jan 2010. Hayes and Dorsey will be backup.

Only the opposition thinks so. Most teams hate the fact that a punitive man can take their big guy out of the game when their big guy does the same thing to our gargantuan guy. Ironic isn't it? LOL

No, Brooks is going to pull a a Magic Johnson and start at center for us.

Then the question becomes do we start David Andersen, Chuck Hayes, or Kyle Lowery at PG

I heard we were working on a Trade for Patty Mills to play Centre.

And to save on the pounding Yao cops, when he comes back, he'll be starting at Point.

In other News, Steve Francis has announced that his sex change operation will not go ahead, as he is a broke A$$ byutch!

our final big man rotation should be

scola/andersen
landry/dorsey
hayes/cook

depends on dorsey able to stay in the game w/o fouling out. dorsey and andersen could share the center minutes hopefully. im pullin for joey to have a good year. no shotblocking, his chance to prove his worth.

I disagree with starting Scola as our Center. We're going to need him to really step up his game, and that means he needs to be more mobile and not stuck in the paint. Let's see what Andersen can do and keep Scola and Landry where they are best - at the PF position.

Pretty sure that Anderson/Dorsey/Hayes/Scola is the center.

There's going to be situations where Scola might man it, especially if Dorsey doesn't show up this year. How much he's there remains to be seen, but Hayes is capable of holding down the starting spot if need be (and probably will, given how Scola and Anderson play)
