Maybe they will look to the future and look for a Quantitative Evaluator(computer-aided scouting) as a scout seems to be working great for the teams like Houston, Detroit, Oklahoma, and Portland.
What makes it so unique is they do not need to travel and everyone in the organization can see whom is the prize long before draft camps.

Except all these teams employ scouts AS WELL as using statistics. There are a lot of things that the numbers just do not show. There is no substitute for watching someone play.

will EA Sports redo their dynasty mode in next games so that Grizzlies cannot do scouting?

Maybe Thabeet was the last straw? Or maybe it was the owner going against the scouts to take Thabeet. that might be enough to run them out of town.

I still can't believe you guys didn't take or deal Rubio... I think he will be in the League very soon now, maybe next week. And he is going to be a hell of a player. Or at least Tyreke or Harden, those guys will be good players.

I just don't understand the fascination in the League with players who are stiffs, but only happen to be 7' tall... there's a sucker who wants to draft another Patrick O'Bryant born every minute...
