Lakers are good but not really better in the playoffs than the Celtics.
I think the Lakers can take Orlando and Cleveland in a 7 game series.

Spurs might be close

But with Boston if they have KG healthy and have homecourt they might be the favorites.

It is so important to get home court for this Laker team. Ask Magic and Kareem how it is
with those C fans in the finals.

I am hoping for a Bos/LA finals but Spurs/Orlando could upset or others.

Portland and Denver will be there but not quite over the hump unless a Laker/Spurs Injury

damn i cant stand boston. thier city, weather, fans, accents, and ben afleck.

Red sox had to juice to break "babe ruths curse".
Patriots had to spy to win games.
Celtics need an ex-player to hand them KG so they can break a 20+ year title drought.

when the spurs,pistons,and heat won titles it didnt bother me at all. When the celtics won it i threw up in my mouth.

Tony, you know I agree with a lot of your posts but not this 1. I really dont care what those Celtic fans think. They are going 2 hate us reguardless. You've seen me over there on their board ripping them to pieces about this topic.

I can not speak for anyone else but I dont have chip on my shoulder about anything. I've been around long enough to know how precious titles are. Heck i remember when I was young all the used to talk about on TV was how long it had been since someone had won back to back titles.

Just because someone speaks of something that is finally tangible & within reach doesnt mean someones cocky. For me it's more fun to talk about it in the now rather than when it's all over & saying why we did or didn't get it done back then.

I think my problem is that at times I allow my emotions to get the best part of me, but Im a type of a person that stands up for what he believes in, at any cost. You know yourself the ish I have gotten into on this board sometimes good and sometimes bad.

As far as this subject I could give a hoot what the Cs fans or any other fan thinks about us or our titles, I dont. Yet on the other hand we all recall all the Spurs fans as well as other fan sat on this board and kept on posting how the Spurs are the favorites to win the west and I as well as you and other posters laughed at these fans claiming how can you sit here and predict or claim the Spurs are going to win the W/C or even a title when the season hasnt even began yet........ A bit arrogant dont you think so brah.

Thats why when it comes to us (Laker fans) I think we are a bit spoiled and arrogant at the sametime to sit here and predicte us passing the Cs or even winning a title this year even though the season hasnt even began yet. Just my personal feelings brah, I dont expect you or anyone else to agree but on the other hand all Im saying is lets win the 17th and then start talking about passing the Cs, until then lets just hope this team works out well in preseason and lets get to the playoffs with everyone healthy and hopefully the finals and then we will be at 16th after that FTW and FTC.

Yet and still some guys that claim to be fans of this team can't grasp the concept at all. Which is the reason you see these types of threads.

Deep I dont know if you have seen this, but last night on NBA TV they did two episodes of the bulls dynasty and I believe it was called unbelievabulls............. If you did watch it then you would agree that Phils formula for his success is the same as it was with the Bulls dynasty as it is with the Lakers, everything that he does everything that he preaches, the chemistry and his concept built around two players his game plans, he's startegy is almost identical with the the three peat bulls. I mean people question his titles and never seem to give him credit but the guy is a guiness and he is the best at what he does, and there is no doubt in my mind that he will stay with the Lakers for a few more titles to come, but brah watching him coach and watching the Bulls play reminded me so much of our threepeat and our last title. All I can say is that I cant wait for this season to begin. Call me crazy but I think we will beat the Bulls 72-10 record this year.

Me to. I think if Bynum stays healthy they will do it rather easily to. I think this Artest move is very underrated.
