Is the GOLTV HD channel going to be a permanent fixture this upcoming year?

Oh a side note...Real will likely split the 22 players they brought into two squads and play each squad 45 minutes (a half)....so yes you will get to see all the superstars jog around in this scrimmage.

Barcelona's stars only played 45mins on Wednesday versus Seattle. Which they won 4-0. But according to the report they still put on a good show for those 45mins. And if Messi, the best player in the world, gave it his all then for TFC fans we can hope that Real Marid will do the same for 1 half.

The game may be on Channel 1 for Rogers people. Im not 100% sure but they are showing an old TFC game right now, maybe the game will go on after?

Doubt it, Rogers is showing a free preview of GOLTV on channel 1 right now, but then the game rolls around they are going to cut it off. This leaves the fans desperate and itching for more which could lead them to purchase GOLTV. $$

Kaka's certainly going to make a difference though. Is Xabi Alonso with the team right now?

Yes, he joined the team on Monday and made the trip down here, so he should play.

I hate Real Madrid...they just bought one of the best players from Liverpool (Alonso) and in turn weakened my team. I would watch it just to see if any Real Madrid players get injured. I hope to see some 2 footed tackles!

Real Madrid's B team.... Robben, Sneijder, Higuain, Guti etc. I wouldn't worry about the quality going down in the 2nd half.

They had near capacity at BMO Field just to watch Real Madrid practice and they charged everyone 15$ just to watch a practice. Barcelona was in Seattle a few days ago and they had 60,000+, from what I've seen attendance wise, that soccer is pretty big in Seattle.

The GolTV website is advertising the Real game on the Rogers preview channel so I don't think they will cut it off once the game starts. I believe the free preview of GolTV is until August 14.

I think Ronaldo and Benzema would be playing as well, no point of bringing them down here if they aren't going to play.

Southern Ontario is a gigantic, euro-ethnic, rabbid soccer market and Ronaldo would be an idiot if he didn't atleast show face.

Plus he'll probably get layed by a different hot girl every 15 minutes.

No thats his backside.

Lowry's upside is mental and psychological.

Wow... if only the Raps could have that kind of depth... I mean even just the injured ones left in Madrid could make a competitive team...
